Chapter 1
Прогноз погоди обіцяє: у неділю сонячно й двадцять п'ять градусів.
The weather forecast says: sunny and twenty-five degrees on Sunday.
Міла з друзями планують пікнік біля озера.
Mila and her friends plan a picnic by the lake.
Кожен щось приносить: бутерброди, фрукти, сік і великий плед.
Everybody brings something: sandwiches, fruit, juice and a big blanket.
Лише Тім бере парасольку. Усі з нього сміються.
Only Tim brings an umbrella. Everybody laughs at him.
«Подивися на небо! Там жодної хмаринки!»
"Look at the sky! There isn't a single cloud!"

Chapter 2
Вони знаходять гарне місце під деревом і починають їсти.
They find a nice place under a tree and start eating.
О третій вітер посилюється, і стає хмарно.
At three o'clock, the wind gets stronger and it gets cloudy.
А потім раптом починається дощ. Та ще й який!
Then, suddenly, it starts to rain. Very hard!
Бутерброди намокають, а плед повний води.
The sandwiches get wet and the blanket is full of water.
Усі біжать. Лише Тім лишається сухим під парасолькою.
Everybody runs. Only Tim stays dry under his umbrella.

Chapter 3

Tim drinks a hot chocolate and smiles: "Who's laughing now?"
За годину дощ припиняється, і знову виходить сонце.
After an hour, the rain stops and the sun comes out again.
Над озером величезна веселка.
Over the lake, there is a huge rainbow.
Наступного разу, каже Міла, усі візьмуть парасольки. Про всяк випадок!
Next time, Mila says, everybody brings an umbrella. Just in case!
