Chapter 1
У середу вранці Лейла прокидається з жахливим болем у животі.
On Wednesday morning, Leyla wakes up with a terrible stomach ache.
У неї також болить голова і трохи підвищена температура.
She also has a headache and a little fever.
Вона дзвонить у поліклініку й записується на прийом на десяту.
She calls the doctor's surgery and gets an appointment at ten.
У приймальні багато людей кашляє.
In the waiting room, there are many people coughing.
Лейла чекає майже годину. Їй стає дедалі гірше.
Leyla waits for almost an hour. She feels worse and worse.

Chapter 2

"What did you eat yesterday?" she asks.
Лейла думає: «Суп на обід, а ввечері... велику тарілку грибів».
Leyla thinks. "Soup for lunch, and in the evening... a big plate of mushrooms."
«Звідки були гриби?» — питає лікарка.
"Where did the mushrooms come from?" asks the doctor.
«З лісу. Їх назбирав мій сусід».
"From the forest. My neighbour picked them."

Дорогою додому Лейла дзвонить сусідові: «Більше ніяких грибів, будь ласка!»
On the way home, Leyla calls her neighbour: "No more mushrooms, please!"
