Chapter 1
У Тома є маленька сіра кішка. Її звати Луна.
Tom has a small grey cat. Her name is Luna.
Щоранку Луна спить біля вікна.
Every morning, Luna sleeps by the window.
Але сьогодні вікно відчинене, і Луни там немає.
But today the window is open and Luna is not there.
Том шукає під ліжком і на кухні.
Tom looks under the bed and in the kitchen.
«Мамо! Луна зникла!» — кричить він.
"Mum! Luna is gone!" he shouts.

"No, sorry," says the baker. "But take a bread roll!"
У парку Том бачить маленьку дівчинку з сірою кішкою.
In the park, Tom sees a little girl with a grey cat.
«Луно?» — питає він. Але кішка на нього не дивиться.
"Luna?" he asks. But the cat does not look at him.

Chapter 3

Він відчиняє дверцята. Луна там, між його светрами.
He opens the door. Luna is there, between his sweaters.
І вона не сама: там троє крихітних кошенят!
And she is not alone: there are three tiny kittens!
Том сміється: «Мамо, тепер у нас чотири коти!»
Tom laughs. "Mum, now we have four cats!"
