Chapter 1
Yıldönümleri için Aylin ve Tom şehrin en ünlü restoranında bir masa ayırtmıştı.
For their anniversary, Aylin and Tom had booked a table at the most famous restaurant in town.
Menü uzun ve karmaşıktı; garson her yemeği sabırla açıkladı.
The menu was long and complicated, and the waiter patiently explained every dish.
Tom ana yemek olarak “şefin özel köri”sini seçti.
Tom chose “the chef's special curry” as his main course.
“Dikkatli olun,” dedi garson. “Çok acıdır.”
“Be careful,” said the waiter. “It's very spicy.”
Tom güldü: “Sorun değil. Acıyı severim.”
Tom laughed: “No problem. I love spicy food.”

Chapter 2

After the first bite, Tom's face turned bright red.

Tom called the waiter and complained politely: “This is too spicy to eat.”

After the meal, he sat down at their table and told them about his youth in India.
Tom ayrılırken garsona cömert bir bahşiş bıraktı.
When they left, Tom gave the waiter a generous tip.
O günden beri her yıldönümünde oraya gidiyorlar ama Tom artık hep “az acılı” istiyor.
Since then, they go there every anniversary, but Tom always asks for “mild” now.
