Chapter 1
Tom tiene una gata pequeña y gris. Se llama Luna.
Tom has a small grey cat. Her name is Luna.
Cada mañana, Luna duerme junto a la ventana.
Every morning, Luna sleeps by the window.
Pero hoy la ventana está abierta y Luna no está.
But today the window is open and Luna is not there.
Tom busca debajo de la cama y en la cocina.
Tom looks under the bed and in the kitchen.
«¡Mamá! ¡Luna no está!», grita.
"Mum! Luna is gone!" he shouts.

En el parque, Tom ve a una niña pequeña con una gata gris.
In the park, Tom sees a little girl with a grey cat.
«¿Luna?», pregunta. Pero la gata no lo mira.
"Luna?" he asks. But the cat does not look at him.

Abre la puerta. Luna está allí, entre sus jerséis.
He opens the door. Luna is there, between his sweaters.
Y no está sola: ¡hay tres gatitos diminutos!
And she is not alone: there are three tiny kittens!
Tom se ríe. «¡Mamá, ahora tenemos cuatro gatos!»
Tom laughs. "Mum, now we have four cats!"
