Chapter 1
Прогноз погоды обещает: в воскресенье солнечно и двадцать пять градусов.
The weather forecast says: sunny and twenty-five degrees on Sunday.
Мила с друзьями планируют пикник у озера.
Mila and her friends plan a picnic by the lake.
Каждый что-то приносит: бутерброды, фрукты, сок и большой плед.
Everybody brings something: sandwiches, fruit, juice and a big blanket.
Только Тим берёт зонт. Все над ним смеются.
Only Tim brings an umbrella. Everybody laughs at him.
«Посмотри на небо! Там ни одного облачка!»
"Look at the sky! There isn't a single cloud!"

Chapter 2
Они находят хорошее место под деревом и начинают есть.
They find a nice place under a tree and start eating.

At three o'clock, the wind gets stronger and it gets cloudy.
А потом вдруг начинается дождь. Да ещё какой!
Then, suddenly, it starts to rain. Very hard!
Бутерброды намокают, а плед полон воды.
The sandwiches get wet and the blanket is full of water.
Все бегут. Только Тим остаётся сухим под зонтом.
Everybody runs. Only Tim stays dry under his umbrella.

Chapter 3

Через час дождь заканчивается, и снова выходит солнце.
After an hour, the rain stops and the sun comes out again.
Над озером огромная радуга.
Over the lake, there is a huge rainbow.
В следующий раз, говорит Мила, все возьмут зонты. На всякий случай!
Next time, Mila says, everybody brings an umbrella. Just in case!
