Chapter 1
В среду утром Лейла просыпается с ужасной болью в животе.
On Wednesday morning, Leyla wakes up with a terrible stomach ache.
У неё также болит голова и небольшая температура.
She also has a headache and a little fever.
Она звонит в поликлинику и записывается на приём на десять.
She calls the doctor's surgery and gets an appointment at ten.
В приёмной много людей кашляет.
In the waiting room, there are many people coughing.
Лейла ждёт почти час. Ей становится всё хуже.
Leyla waits for almost an hour. She feels worse and worse.

Лейла думает: «Суп на обед, а вечером... большую тарелку грибов».
Leyla thinks. "Soup for lunch, and in the evening... a big plate of mushrooms."
«Откуда были грибы?» — спрашивает врач.
"Where did the mushrooms come from?" asks the doctor.
«Из леса. Их собрал мой сосед».
"From the forest. My neighbour picked them."

On the way home, Leyla calls her neighbour: "No more mushrooms, please!"
