Chapter 1
Ogni giovedì Sam gioca a calcio con una piccola squadra al parco.
Every Thursday, Sam plays football with a small team in the park.
La squadra non è molto brava. Perde quasi tutte le partite.
The team is not very good. They lose almost every match.
Ma amano giocare insieme e dopo la partita mangiano la pizza.
But they love playing together, and after the game they eat pizza.
Un giorno l'allenatore ha una grande notizia: sono in finale cittadina!
One day, the coach has big news: they are in the city final!
Nessuno ci crede. Un'altra squadra non si è presentata, quindi sono in finale.
Nobody can believe it. Another team didn't come, so they are in the final.

The other team is fast and strong. After ten minutes, it is 0–2.
All'intervallo l'allenatore dice: «Dimenticate il punteggio. Divertitevi!»
At half time, the coach says: "Forget the score. Just have fun!"
Nel secondo tempo la squadra di Sam gioca senza paura.
In the second half, Sam's team plays without fear.
Prima segna Lisa, poi Omar. È 2-2!
First Lisa scores, then Omar. It's 2–2!
