Chapter 1
Tom a une petite chatte grise. Elle s'appelle Luna.
Tom has a small grey cat. Her name is Luna.
Chaque matin, Luna dort près de la fenêtre.
Every morning, Luna sleeps by the window.
Mais aujourd'hui, la fenêtre est ouverte et Luna n'est pas là.
But today the window is open and Luna is not there.
Tom cherche sous le lit et dans la cuisine.
Tom looks under the bed and in the kitchen.
« Maman ! Luna a disparu ! » crie-t-il.
"Mum! Luna is gone!" he shouts.

Chapter 2
Tom et sa mère sortent dans la rue.
Tom and his mum go out into the street.

They ask the baker: "Have you seen a grey cat?"
« Non, désolé », dit le boulanger. « Mais prenez un petit pain ! »
"No, sorry," says the baker. "But take a bread roll!"
Au parc, Tom voit une petite fille avec une chatte grise.
In the park, Tom sees a little girl with a grey cat.
« Luna ? » demande-t-il. Mais la chatte ne le regarde pas.
"Luna?" he asks. But the cat does not look at him.

Chapter 3

Il ouvre la porte. Luna est là, entre ses pulls.
He opens the door. Luna is there, between his sweaters.
Et elle n'est pas seule : il y a trois minuscules chatons !
And she is not alone: there are three tiny kittens!
Tom rit. « Maman, maintenant on a quatre chats ! »
Tom laughs. "Mum, now we have four cats!"
