Chapter 1
Pazar günü annesinin doğum günü ve Jonas'ın hâlâ bir hediyesi yok.
It's Mum's birthday on Sunday, and Jonas still doesn't have a present.
Sadece kırk avrosu var, bu yüzden alışveriş merkezine gidiyor.
He has only forty euros, so he goes to the shopping centre.
İlk mağazada güzel bir atkı altmış avro. Çok pahalı!
In the first shop, a beautiful scarf costs sixty euros. Too expensive!
İkinci mağazada gömlekler ucuz ama annesi o rengi sevmiyor.
In the second shop, the shirts are cheap, but Mum doesn't like that colour.
Jonas yorgun ve biraz üzgün. Ne alabilir ki?
Jonas is tired and a bit sad. What can he buy?

Chapter 2

Chapter 3

With the rest of the money, he buys flowers and wrapping paper.

On Sunday, Mum opens the present and doesn't say anything.

Then she opens the book and finds her own name inside: it is her old book!
Annesi hem ağlıyor hem gülüyor. Bu, şimdiye kadarki en güzel hediye.
Mum cries and laughs at the same time. It's the best present ever.
