Ogni sabato Emma va in un piccolo bar vicino a casa sua.
Every Saturday, Emma goes to a small café near her house.
Ordina sempre un caffè con il latte e una fetta di torta di mele.
She always orders a coffee with milk and a piece of apple cake.
Il cameriere, Paul, la conosce bene.
The waiter, Paul, knows her well.
Ma oggi Paul non c'è. C'è un cameriere nuovo.
But today Paul is not there. There is a new waiter.
È giovane e molto nervoso.
He is young and very nervous.

Il ragazzo diventa rosso. «Oh no! Mi scusi. È il mio primo giorno.»
The young man goes red. "Oh no! I'm sorry. It's my first day."
Emma assaggia la torta al cioccolato. È buonissima!
Emma tastes the chocolate cake. It is delicious!
«Nessun problema» dice sorridendo. «La prendo!»
"No problem," she says with a smile. "I'll keep it!"
