Chapter 1
Chaque jeudi, Sam joue au foot avec une petite équipe dans le parc.
Every Thursday, Sam plays football with a small team in the park.
L'équipe n'est pas très bonne. Elle perd presque tous ses matchs.
The team is not very good. They lose almost every match.
Mais ils adorent jouer ensemble, et après le match, ils mangent une pizza.
But they love playing together, and after the game they eat pizza.
Un jour, l'entraîneur annonce une grande nouvelle : ils sont en finale de la ville !
One day, the coach has big news: they are in the city final!
Personne n'y croit. Une autre équipe n'est pas venue, alors ils sont en finale.
Nobody can believe it. Another team didn't come, so they are in the final.

On the day of the final, it is very hot and many people are watching.

The other team is fast and strong. After ten minutes, it is 0–2.
À la mi-temps, l'entraîneur dit : « Oubliez le score. Amusez-vous ! »
At half time, the coach says: "Forget the score. Just have fun!"
En deuxième mi-temps, l'équipe de Sam joue sans peur.
In the second half, Sam's team plays without fear.
D'abord Lisa marque, puis Omar. 2-2 !
First Lisa scores, then Omar. It's 2–2!

Ce soir-là, ils mangent la plus grande pizza de la ville.
