Chapter 1
لدى توم قطة صغيرة رمادية. اسمها لونا.
Tom has a small grey cat. Her name is Luna.
كل صباح، تنام لونا بجانب النافذة.
Every morning, Luna sleeps by the window.
لكن اليوم النافذة مفتوحة ولونا ليست هناك.
But today the window is open and Luna is not there.
يبحث توم تحت السرير وفي المطبخ.
Tom looks under the bed and in the kitchen.
يصرخ: «أمي! لونا اختفت!»
"Mum! Luna is gone!" he shouts.

Chapter 2
يخرج توم وأمه إلى الشارع.
Tom and his mum go out into the street.
يسألان الخبّاز: «هل رأيت قطة رمادية؟»
They ask the baker: "Have you seen a grey cat?"
يقول الخبّاز: «لا، آسف. لكن خذا قطعة خبز!»
"No, sorry," says the baker. "But take a bread roll!"
في الحديقة، يرى توم فتاة صغيرة معها قطة رمادية.
In the park, Tom sees a little girl with a grey cat.
يسأل: «لونا؟» لكن القطة لا تنظر إليه.
"Luna?" he asks. But the cat does not look at him.

Chapter 3
يعود توم وأمه إلى البيت. هما حزينان جدًا.

Then Tom hears a sound from the cupboard: "Meow!"
يفتح الباب. لونا هناك، بين كنزاته.
He opens the door. Luna is there, between his sweaters.
وليست وحدها: هناك ثلاث قطط صغيرة جدًا!
And she is not alone: there are three tiny kittens!
يضحك توم. «أمي، الآن لدينا أربع قطط!»
Tom laughs. "Mum, now we have four cats!"
