Chapter 1
يرنّ منبّه بن كل صباح في الساعة السابعة.
Ben's alarm rings at seven o'clock every morning.
يستيقظ، ويستحم، وينظّف أسنانه.
He wakes up, takes a shower and brushes his teeth.
في الفطور، يأكل خبزًا مع جبن ويشرب القهوة.
For breakfast, he eats bread with cheese and drinks coffee.
لكن في يوم الاثنين هذا، لا يرنّ المنبّه.
But this Monday, the alarm does not ring.
يفتح بن عينيه. إنها الثامنة والنصف بالفعل!
Ben opens his eyes. It is already half past eight!

Chapter 2

The bus is full and very slow.
في التاسعة والربع، يصل بن إلى العمل. إنه متعب جدًا.
At a quarter past nine, Ben arrives at work. He is very tired.
لكن المكتب فارغ. أين الجميع؟
But the office is empty. Where is everybody?

Chapter 3

"Don't forget: today is a holiday. The office is closed!"
يضحك بن. كل هذا الركض بلا فائدة!
Ben laughs. All that running for nothing!
يعود إلى البيت، ويتناول فطورًا كبيرًا، ويشاهد التلفاز.
He goes home, eats a big breakfast and watches television.
في المساء، ينام مبكرًا. غدًا يجب أن يرنّ المنبّه!
In the evening, he goes to sleep early. Tomorrow the alarm must ring!
